Many times in the process of building your Chains, the requirement to run a task over a list of values is required, and now this functionality is native to our platform.
You will now see the option in your Commands and Command Groups to toggle the iterator option. You can either manually enter the list of items to iterate over, or use an output from a previous command. The Command or Commands in a group will run once for each value in the list, and you will be able to see the output of each result just as you would for a normal Command.
Have you every wanted to set a variable in your chain that you could use in future runs of that Chain? Well now you can.
We have now added a new variable type to Chains called Dynamic Variables. With these variables you are able to set the initial value, and during the execution of the Chain set that variable to a custom value. These values will persist throughout the life of the Chain, and can be set using a Chain Event.
Setting Dynamic Variables is only the beginning of the upcoming Chain Events. Now when adding to your Chain you will not only be able to add Commands, but Chain Events as well. We will be adding more types of Chain Events in the future so be on the look out for additional announcements!
