Conditional Skips, Extract Outputs & Set Variables, Test Single Commands and OAC Metadata Extract
Release Date: 14 September 2019
OneCloud will be making platform enhancements, Saturday, September 14, 2019, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. EDT. There will be no downtime for this release.
Conditionally Skip Commands
You'll now have the ability to skip a command based on conditional logic. Similar to the existing conditional event, you can build multiple rules which then get evaluated to determine if a command should run or be skipped.
Commands can now produce outputs that are generated dynamically. You are now able to search through the outputs of a command and use a regular expression to extract values. This can be useful to turn unstructured data (for example, data generated from a script runner command) into a useful value can that can be referenced later on in your chain.
Set multiple dynamic variables at once
Instead of having to create a new event each time you want to set a dynamic variable, you are now able to set multiple dynamic variables at once.
Testing a single command
You are now able to execute a single command instead of having to run your chain from a certain point. This new feature provides more flexibility when testing and allows you to iterate more quickly when building out your chains.
Oracle Analytics Cloud Metadata Extraction
A new command has been added to the OneCloud for Oracle Analytics Cloud BizApp to extract outline metadata in a tabular format with all members attributes, aliases, consolidation, etc.
