Oracle PCMCS High Speed Extractor, Iteration Support for Run Chain Event, Google BigQuery
Release Date: 1 February 2020
OneCloud will be making platform enhancements, Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 11 am to 1 pm EDT. There will be no downtime for this release.
Iteration Support for Run Chain Events
OneCloud now supports the ability to use iterators with the Run Chain event. This new capability allows a child Chain to be executed within a loop to perform an operation multiple times. For example, one could create a Chain that performs mapping. A parent ChainChain could then call the mapping ChainChain and pass a run time input for the dimension to be mapped. The ability to use iterators with the Run Chain event further enhances the reusability of Chains.
GroundRunner Proxy Bypass
GroundRunners now support the ability to bypass a proxy when executing commands. This accounts for instances of web-based proxies such as Z-Scaler which may not be configured to route outbound traffic back to internal network addresses.
Oracle PCMCS High Speed Extractor
Convert ASO to Tabular: The Oracle PCMCS BizApp will have the ability to convert a native ASO export format to a tabular format. This enables data exported from PCMCS to be easily shared with Block Storage (BSO) Essbase cubes, relational databases as well as external reporting applications such as Power BI and Tableau.
The Google BigQuery BizApp allows you to load and query for data in a tabular format. It also includes commands for finding the associated metadata with your projects, tables, datasets, and more.
The following defects are fixed in this platform update:
Large data files fully upload to Oracle EPM Cloud (Ticket #1458: EPBCS Partial Upload)
