The OneCloud IBM Db2 BizApp enables OneCloud to natively integrate with the Db2 relational database system. Combining the ability to perform Db2 database operations across other applications including Tableau and Power BI and performance management applications such as Anaplan, IBM Planning Analytics, Planful, and Oracle EPM, Workiva, and BlackLine allows OneCloud customers to tightly and bi-directionally integrate their data stored in Db2 with other apps.
To enable OneCloud to interact with a relational system, you’ll need to navigate to the connection manager to create a connection. From here, choose IBM Db2 from the service drop-down and select the appropriate Runner, and use the IBM Db2 Connections Parameters to complete the setup.
IBM Db2 Port
The default port for IBM Db2 is many times one of the following: 446, 6789, or 50000. Usually, if the default port is being used by the database server, the :<port> value of the JDBC url can be omitted.
IBM Db2 Connection Parameters
Visit IBM Db2’s documentation to learn more about additional connection parameters that can be leveraged.
The following is an example of a working connection. Please substitute your own values.
